Heavy metal deposition from flue gas is one of the significant environmental problems that are generated by incinera- tion of rubbish in power generation. Various sources can bring about heavy metals in municipal solid waste. The pollutants from flue gas include elemental heavy metals, oxidation and chlorination of heavy metals and so on. There are two mechanisms to eliminate heavy metal deposition, named particulate dry deposition and gaseous dry deposition, respectively. Taking municipal solid waste dis- posal center as example, the essay will evaluate the effects of Pb, Cd and Hg dry deposition on soils with AERMOD model.
