对北京动物园1990-1998年不同哺育方式下的12只0～6月龄大熊猫幼崽生长发育情况进行研究，结果表明，母兽哺育的大熊猫幼崽生长发育速率最低；人工一母乳交替哺育的方式具有最大的生长发育速率；纯人工哺育方式下的生长发育速率居中。双胞胎的生长发育速率较单只个体生长慢。3种哺育方式下，雄性个体均较雌性个体生长发育快。采用母兽喂养方式的个体寿命较长，而以人工和交替式哺育方式的幼崽均因体弱而在较小年龄时死亡。

Under different feeding ways,the growth and development of twelve 0-6 month-old giant panda cubs in Beijing Zoo were studied during 1990 to 1998. Results showed that the growth rate of the giant panda cubs feeding by mother was the lowest. The growth rate of giant panda cubs under artificial-mother feeding way was higher than that under other feeding ways, and the growth rate was middle under the artificial feeding way. The growth slow rates of single individuals were higher than the twins. Among the three feeding ways ,all the males grew faster than the females. Under the mother feeding way, the individuals lived for a longer life, while the cubs died young due to frail under the other feeding ways.
