蓖麻碱是一种类似吡啶酮的生物碱，是蓖麻的毒素之一。采用微波或超声波法提取，再用重结晶法可得到白色针状结晶物蓖麻碱。热榨蓖麻饼粕中含有蓖麻碱，采用化学法、物理法、生物法、微生物发酵法可脱除其中的蓖麻碱。蓖麻碱具有一定的生物活性，包括肝保护功能活性、改善记忆功能活性、杀虫活性和杀鼠活性。对蓖麻碱的结构特性、分离纯化、分析鉴定、脱除、生物活性和应用前景等作了详细介绍，提出蓖麻碱作为一种天然产物在我国具有广阔的应用前景。

Ricinine is a kind of alkaloid similar to pyridine and it is one of toxins in castor.
