Spacial resolutiaon and contrast resolution are two of the most important factors in ultrasound imaging. Firstly, the two factors are introduced detail y. And then, the apeture apolization method, encode excitation method, and homonic imaging method, which are typical methods in ultrasound imaging, are analysised deeply. Finally, the improvement trends to ultrasound imaging are discussed.
