采用主成分分析法把川中丘陵地区39个区县市的土地节约集约利用划分为高度集约型、中度集约型、一般集约型、低度粗放型四种类型，结果表明川中丘陵地区土地节约集约利用的水平整体不高，地区间差异显著，节约集约挖掘潜力大．为此，提出了促进川中丘陵地区土地节约集约利用的相关措施．

This paper classified the economical and intensive land use of 39 districts and counties in hilly areas of central Sichuan into four types--highly intensive,moderate intensive, general intensive and low-extensive by using principal component analysis method. The results show that the intensive land use in hilly areas of central Sichuan is generally at a low level,and the differences among areas are quite significant,which means there are large potential in exploring the economical and intensive use of land. In this respect, relevant countermeasures are put forward to improve the economical and intensive land use in hilly area of central Sichuan.
