Cyber-physical system (CPS) is a multi-dimensional aggregate of communication, com- putation, network, environment and control. CPS is to realize deep integration of the information system and the physical system. Firstly, the concept of CPS is analyzed. Then, the system func- tion and the technical characteristics of CPS are studied. Finally, the research outline and the ap- plication prospect are given. It is expected to promote the sophisticated understanding of CPS and provide research references for CPS.
