针对高职英语课程内容针对性不强的问题,采用了开放式问卷调查的方法,分析了高职毕业生工作场景中为了完成典型工作任务而用到的英语,研究发现：（1）大多数毕业生认为通过英语来解决问题是在工作中应用英语最频繁的情况;（2）＂用语言做事＂是目标工作情境中英语的主要用途。并提出了高职英语课程改革的一些建议。

After examining and analyzing some collected Applied Computer Science, Web Technology as well as questionnaires of vocational college graduates majoring in Telecommunication Technology, it is found that the main purpose that the graduates use English in their daily work is to solve applied problems. Also, "Completing tasks by using form English" is the main function of English in target working places. Some suggestions to English curriculum reare also discussed.
