The status and role of technical standard system of rubber in the improvement of market competitiveness of rubber products and the growth of farmers income and agricultural efficiency in Yunnan were reviewed. Current situation and the problems of the standardization system for rubber in Yunnan were analyzed. Aiming at the problems, the countermeasures of establishing and improving the technical standard system of rubber in Yunnan were proposed.
