为了解催化对微型发动机燃烧室内甲烷燃烧特性的影响,采用甲烷和空气的预混合气体,对在活塞上表面和燃烧室顶部涂有 Pt-La/γ-Al2O3催化剂的微型发动机的催化燃烧特性进行了实验研究及数值模拟,对比分析了有、无催化燃烧时微型发动机的燃烧特性。结果表明:催化燃烧可以提高燃烧效率,着火时刻会有大幅度的提前,微型发动机具有更高的输出功率和能量密度;催化燃烧可以降低燃料的着火温度,扩展微燃烧的可燃界限。

In order to understand the catalysis effect on the combustion characteristics inside combustion chamber of micro engine, catalytic combustion characteristics of methane/air mixture were investigated experimentally and numerically by using the catalysts (Pt-La/γ-Al2O3). The comparative study of non-catalytic and catalytic combustion was carried out to clarify combustion characteristics of the micro engine. The results show that the combustion efficiency is improved and the ignition timing is advanced greatly by catalytic combustion. The output power and the energy density of micro engine can be improved by catalytic combustion. The ignition temperature of the fuel is reduced and the micro-combustion limits are extended by catalytic combustion.
