Professional town, a new industry duster form, is one of the main mode of development of small towns in the Pearl River Delta region. This paper selects Changping Town of Dongguan and focuses on its electronic information industry as an example, analyzing the prominent problems of its industry development and industrial structure transformation and upgrading, and proposing strategies to promote Changping town industrial structure transition and upgrade.
