独立学院一律采用民办机制，学费普遍较高，学生承受着较大的经济压力。然而，独立学院的贫困生资助工作却面临着认定不够规范、资助资金投入不足、勤工助学岗位供不应求、资助与育人环节脱离、资助工作队伍和机制不够健全等困境。因此，独立学院必须以科学发展观为指导，规范贫困生认定程序，夯实财力资助基础，创新素质资助体系。以完善的双线资助体系服务于大学生的成长成才。

Independent colleges are private mechanism. Students need pay higher tuition, so they are under great economic pressure. Nowadays, independent colleges have met some difficulties, such as lack of regulating mechanism when determining impoverished students, insufficient capital investment, short supply of work-study positions, inconsistent action when funding and cultivating. To solve those problems, independent colleges must follow the scientific outlook of development, regulate mechanism when determining impoverished students, strengthen foundation of capital investment and innovate system of quality support. Independent colleges should serve for students' growth and achievement with perfect double-support system.
