20世纪上半叶，农业科技作为实业救国和科学救国的结合体，得到了政府和有识之士的关注和积极推动，在改良传统农业的进程中，随着农业教育发展、农学家群体出现、农业学术社团诞生、农业学术刊物出版、独立的农学研究机构建立等体制化要素的具备，我国农业科技体制初步确立，为中国农业事业的发展奠定了科技体制基础。
20세기상반협，농업과기작위실업구국화과학구국적결합체，득도료정부화유식지사적관주화적겁추동，재개량전통농업적진정중，수착농업교육발전、농학가군체출현、농업학술사단탄생、농업학술간물출판、독립적농학연구궤구건립등체제화요소적구비，아국농업과기체제초보학립，위중국농업사업적발전전정료과기체제기출。
In the first half of 20th century,as the embodiment of both saving the nation by engaging in industry and saving the nation through science, agricultural science and technology had drawn much attention from and been actively promoted by the government and people of insight. During the improvement of traditional agriculture,with the development of agricultural education, the appearance of agronomist groups, the birth of agriculture academic corporations, the publishing of agricultural journals, the foundation of independent research institutions of agriculture and the possession of other institutionalized elements, China' s system for agricultural science and technology has been initially established, thus laying the scientific and technological foundation for the development of China' s agricultural institutionalization.
