Semantic acquisition plays an essential role in the process of vocabulary acquisition. Since the theory of Frame Semantics provides an efficient method to understand and describe word meaning on the basis of cognitive study of language, it is important for L2 learners to pay attention to the construction of frames and scenes in semantic acquisition. In the analysis of L2 semantic acquisition from the perspective of Frame Semantics, this paper aims to study the significance of frames and scenes in L2 semantic acquisition.
