This paper systematically analyzes the development of the US amphibious wheeled vehicles, studies the structural characteristics and development trend of the amphibious wheeled vehicles. It obtains the enlightenments from above men- tioned, and clears the orientation and focus of Chinese army's development of amphibious wheeled vehicles.
