With the oil price rising, the cost of thermal power generation is increasing. In order to save energy and cut investment, the technique of micro oil ignition is widely applied. In recent years,the accidents of furnace explosion and air pre-heater ignition caused by micro oil ignition happened sometimes. Based on the difficulty of micro oil ignition of one power plant,this paper summarize the successful experiences of micro oil ignition in order to provide reference for micro oil ignition of large boiler startup.
