国标测定树脂酸值的溶剂体系适用于非水系或溶剂法合成水性丙烯酸树脂体系,其溶剂体系不适用于乳液聚合法制得的丙烯酸乳液酸值测定。研究选用百里酚蓝作为指示剂,采用乙醇和水的混合溶剂溶解乳液样品进行酸值测定,讨论了醇水比和稀释比对乳液粒径和酸值的影响,结果显示:采用醇水比为1.5的混合溶剂,总体积为50~200mL且稀释比小于200的条件溶解不同类型的丙烯酸乳液样品,乳液状态稳定且可得到较准确稳定的酸值结果。

The solvent system of GB method for resin acid value measurement is suitable for non-aqueous media orwaterborne acrylic resins by solvent method, but this solvent system is not suitable for the acid value measure- ment of acrylicemulsion prepared by emulsionpolymerization.Acid value of acrylic emulsion was obtained after dissolution of emulsion with mixed solvent of ethanol and water and using thymol blue as indicator. The influence of the ratio of alcohol to water and dilution ratio on the particle size of emulsion and acid value were discussed. The results showed that: when the ratio of ethanol to water is 1.5, the total volume is in the range of 50 - 200 mL, and the dilution ratio is less than 200, the particle size of acrylic emulsion was relatively stable and excellent acid value results can be obtained.
