Measures to optimize the process of pressure filtration system in prodution of acety- lene by calcium carbide method wcrc introduced. Through optimizing process, electricity consump- tion and maintenance cost wcrc rcduccd, the process was simplified, watcr content in filter cake and consumption of filter cloths wcrc decreased, achieving the aim of safe production, energy saving, consumption reduction and environmental protection.
