Microwave technology is growing fast as a specialty discipline. Based on theory of electromagnetic field, the paper gave the method of calculation of the cutoff wavelength which the special circular waveguide-natural gas pipeline, tried to analyze the calculating result combine with parameter of microwave. Then, got a cutoff condition that the pipeline to different frequency of microwave, to make sure the frequency of microwave which the different pipe diameter can transmit.
