The paper sums up the advantages and disadvantages for the drilling and blasting method in underwater tunnel construction, introduces some key techniques, including the advanced drilling "explore water", the geological forecast and waterproof and drainage involved in the construction of the underwater tunnel by adopting the drilling and blasting method, and points out respective auxiliary construction measures and safety guarantee measures, so as to provide some reference for underwater tunnel construction in future.
