步行系统是城市交通的组成部分,它的建设必然提高人的通行速度,缓解交通拥堵,提高城市服务容量和服务水平,满足更多人的交通需求。本文意在通过引用景观生态学的"源、汇、流"理论,以武汉市江岸区江汉路步行街及周边区域为研究对象,通过调查和研究,发现问题,剖析原因,详细探讨源汇流理论在步行系统设计中的应用,从而完善其城市步行交通系统,缓解城市中人与自然、人与社会、人与人之间的矛盾。
