An installation of measuring Young modulus by CCD is introduced, the measurement prin- ciple and determination method are given, and the advantage of determining Young modulus by using this experiment equipment is analyzed and described. By using the insert function of Excel, the con- crete experiment data is calculated by least square method in Excel Worksheet. The relevant Young modulus and its measurement uncertainty are given, so the students can know the superiority of calcu- lating experimental data by making use of the insert function of Excel.
