对普通高职院校而言，思想政治教育是学生教育工作的核心和重要基础，而思想政治教育效果则是其所有活动的起点和最终的归宿，对其有效性的研究是当前教育领域一个极其关键的重要命题，直接影响学校日常管理和学生终其一生的发展。人的需要是人类从事一切社会活动的原动力，长期以来，但忽视学生的需要仅从书本出发的教条主义的思想政治教育工作成效差强人意，本文拟以学生需要理论为基点，研究如何提高思想政治教育的有效性，从一个崭新的视角为高职院校思想政治教育工作提供新的思路和构想。
