The characteristics and natural distribution of fluorine were introduced.The harm of fluoride to human beings,animals and plants were described,which fully embodied the necessity of fluorine purification by plant.The symptoms of plants which suffered from fluoride,the tolerability level and the fluorine purification mechanism were emphatically introduced,The research progress on fluorine purification both home and abroad were summarized,and the future study on fluorine purification by plant were pointed out.
