潘海华、韩景泉对汉语保留宾语结构的分析会使句法推导陷入两难境地，而基于最简方案语段理论的分析能较好地解释该结构的几个基本特点。语段的基本操作为动词前后两个名词性成分之间的语义解读提供了必要的句法结构基础；处于宾语位置上的DP 可以用两种方式来给无解特征赋值，这是生成不同结构的句法根源。

This paper analyzes the syntactic derivation of retained object in Mandarin Chinese from the perspective of phase theory.It bases on the study of related topics in Pan & Han,which argues that retained object in Mandarin results from the adjunction of NP to TP . The paper proposes that such mechanism may give rise to some dilemma in syntactic derivation.Based on the phase theory,it proposes that the basic mecha-nisms in phase derivation provide necessary syntactic foundations for the semantic interpretation between the nominal element in the initial position of the construction and the retained object.Besides,the retained object values all uninterpretable features in two manners,which in turn gives rise to different constructions. It con-cludes that the phase theory can account for the basic properties of the relevant constructions.
