The paper studied the heat treatment process with manganese brass produced separately by extrusion method and horizontal continuous casting, it made a comparison and analysis on the microstructure and property to obtain the optimum process to meet various requirements of the product.The test showed that the overal characteristics of Al oys 1 and 2 can be improved with proper extrusion process and homogenizing annealing process.
