Food security is a comprehensive course which influenced on the study of the quality of students of the specialty directly. But it is difficult to teaching and the effect is poor. The problems exiting in food security teaching are analyzed and summarized. And in combination with the author's teaching experiences, some understandings are provided for the improve ment in the quality of food security teaching.
