By reviewing Yutian earthquake of M7.3 emergency action,some typical characteristics of the earthquake disasters are summarized and experience of the earthquake relieving is obtained.From the viewpoint of the emergency management and ethnic sociolo-gy,some issues in the earthquake emergency work that should be paid attention are clarified briefly.
