The improvement of teaching quality is a comprehen-sive topic whose core is classroom teaching, while the teacher plays an important role in classroom teaching. The writer pro-posed that a teacher should possess five roles in classroom teach-ing:the motivator of great love, the wakener of learning enthusi-asm, the organizer of classroom activities, the cooperator of com-munication and interaction, and the appreciator of students' tal-ents.
