The paper compares and analyzes lime-soil compaction pile method and soil cushion replacement method in the new workshop founda-tion treatment scheme in collapsible loose region of Shanxi province,and concludes that:soil cushion replacement method is the optimal scheme for the engineering,and applies the scheme into construction site,which testifies the feasibility of soil cushion replacement method used in the foundation treatment.
