　　分析了我国棉花杂交种利用的现状及制种方法，提出了制约杂交棉发展的因素是繁琐的制种方法和过高的种子成本。在分析光温敏不育系应用现状的基础上，论述了棉花光温敏雄性不育系在不同温光条件下的育性转化、恢复源广阔、杂种优势显著、制种简便等杂交制种方面的优势及其应用前景。

By analyzing the present situation and seed production method of cotton hybrid, the bottleneck was cumbersome seed production method and higher cost , which restrict development of hybrid cotton.Based on the analysis status quo of the application of photoperiod-thermo sensitive sterile lines, the advantages of photoperiod-thermo sensitive male sterile cotton , such as fertility transformation thoroughly , restore the source wide, obvious heterosis and easy hybrid seed production were discussed.It had better development prospect for cotton hyrid seed production using photoperiod-thermo sensitive sterile lines.
