As for increasingly striking conflict between load peak-valley difference and peak regulation capacity of Guangxi Power Grid,the paper thoroughly analyzes load characteristics of Guangxi Power Grid,and then analyzes peak regulation nature and capacity in hydropower and thermal power as well as present status of peak regulation of Guangxi Power Grid. Finally,the paper indicates existing difficulties in power grid peak regulation and puts forward corresponding suggestions and conclusion.
