据统计，我国农村留守儿童已超5800万，并且持续增长，而留守儿童各方面的情感缺失十分严重。基于此，本论文从儿童情感需求着手，对留守儿童平时生活中的玩具进行调查，得出了留守儿童玩具的缺失。在此基础上通过市场调查，结合现行玩具的特点，并着重结合材料，安全性，趣味性，以及情感方面的注入，设计一款专为留守儿童玩乐的玩具，对儿童健康成长有着重要意义。
