Business English negotiations, which is also called cross-cultural negotiations, is relating to the different cultures and different languages. Language determines the culture. This article tries to understand cultural differences from speech act analysis in the negotiations at different stages, so as to instruct the negotiators to use reasonable strategy of speech acts and make the negotiation go smoothly and achieve expected effect.
