中医药在我国慢性乙型肝炎的治疗中占有重要地位，裴正学教授经长期临床实践，对慢性乙型病毒性肝炎之诊治，围绕“肝气郁结、肝郁脾虚、脾虚湿盛”的病机，采用中药疏肝解郁、健脾益气、清热利湿，配合西药抗病毒为基本治疗原则，将中医辨证与西医辨病相结合，并根据疾病发展的不同阶段，辨证施治，随症灵活加减方药，充分发挥中医药整体性的独特优势，从而减轻患者症状，改善临床预后，提高生活质量，延长生存时间，每治此类患者，疗效均显著。

Chinese medicine plays the important role in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B in Chi-na. Prof. Pei Zhengxue has been engaged in the clinical practice for years on the diagnosis and treatment of chronic viral hepatitis B based on the pathogenesis of“liver qi stagnation,spleen deficiency due to liver qi stagnation and excessive damp due to spleen deficiency”. Chinese medicines for soothing liver qi,strengthe-ning spleen qi,clearing away heat and removing damp along with anti-virus with western medicine were a-dopted as the basic treating principle,in which,the syndrome differentiation of Chinese medicine and disease identification of western medicine had been integrated to treat disease according to different phases. The herb-al formulas were modified flexibly according to symptoms. The integrated therapy displays the unique advanta-ges of the entity in Chinese medicine,alleviates the symptoms of patients,improves the clinical prognosis and life quality and prolongs survival time. The significant efficacy has been achieved in each case.
