研究了成组技术在知识管理系统中的应用，通过对模具进行分类，找出生产中最常用的四大类模具。根据模具的分类，提出在模具知识管理系统中基于成组技术进行模具知识描述的方法，给出了冲模知识描述实例和数据库的设计方案，取得了良好的效果，为模具企业知识管理提供了一种可行的方法。

The application of group technology in knowledge management system was stud-ied and the most common four categories of die & mould were found out through classifi-cation of dies and moulds. The method of die & mould knowledge description based on group technology in die & mould knowledge management system was proposed. The exam-ples of stamping die knowledge description and the design schemes of database were pro-posed.
