Mona Baker, a British translation theorist, explores the interactive connection between translation and political and cul-tural conflicts from the perspective of narration, which has brought the translation theory to a new level. On the basis of Mona Baker's ideas, the thesis focuses on elaborating the political and cultural conflicts in the TCM translation and exploring the narrative strategies applied in the process of translation to pro-mote positive communication of the Traditional Chinese Medicine.
