The author introduced the absorption , enrichment and discharge process of aquatic animals to copper in water body , and the mechanism of copper toxicity in water body to aquatic animals , such as tissue toxicity , growth, development and genetic tox-icity, blood physiological and biochemical toxicity .The study deficiencies in copper toxicity in water body were pointed out .
