将海泡石(SEP)添加到膨胀阻燃聚丙烯(PP)复合材料中,考察了SEP对该体系的协效阻燃作用。结果表明,SEP的加入使PP复合材料的极限氧指数明显提高,且通过UL94垂直燃烧V-0级测试;热重分析测试表明,SEP明显提高了PP复合材料的热稳定性;锥形量热仪测试发现,SEP的引入明显降低了复合材料的热释放速率及产烟量。加入少量海泡石能减少膨胀阻燃剂的用量,明显改善阻燃复合材料的吸湿性能。

Sepiolite was added to the intumescent flame-retardant polypropylene(PP) and the synergistic effect of sepiolite was studied. The results show that LOI of PP composites is significantly improved and the composites can pass UL94 V-0 by the introduction of sepiolite;TGA tests show that the system significantly improves the thermal stability of PP composites. Cone calorimeter (CONE) tests show that the introduction of sepiolite significantly reduces the rate of heat release and smoke production of composites. Reducing the amount of APP-PER by adding small amount of sepiolite can significantly improve hygroscopicity of composites.
