The importance of digital factories for precision injection mould manufacturing was expounded. The main functional requirement was analyzed,and the overall system scheme was designed. The key technologies were studied in detail,such as product data management,rapid work-piece identification,tool life management and flexible manufacturing workshop planning. The design could provide technical supports for the widely application of digital factory technology in precision injection mould.
