By selecting analysis motor starting in Zhangjiatan pumping station ,this paper introduces a new type of intelligent soft starter JJR8000 ’s application in the reconstruction of pumping station.It analyzes the princi-ple of three-phase squirrel cage induction motor soft start intelligent ,and point out the importance of the motor starting method in the pumping station ,which has important significance for the transformation of the motor starting way in small and medium sized pumping station.
