This paper analyzes the main pollution factors during the construction period of the Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge( HZMB ), expounds the targeted control measures that CCCC has taken during the construction period. By comparing the monitoring results of marine environment over the years and the evaluation report of seawater quality inspection data, these mea-sures have received good effect. The results show that the cross-sea bridge constructions cause certain impacts on environment inevitably. However, these impacts can be minimized as long as we heighten the environmental awareness and take effective measures. It also applies during the operation period.
