拉萨市南北走向街道基本没有出现过冻胀破坏，然而东西走向街道的冻胀破坏却十分明显，多次反复修补，对其城市的交通造成严重的影响，浪费大量人力物力。因此，本文通过对拉萨市东西走向街道冻胀破坏路面进行了全面而详细的街道环境调查，分析得出其冻胀破坏与其南侧楼房阴影、路面荷载、地层岩性、含水率、市政设施及周边环境等因素密切相关。并通过采集地下温度对比和测试路基含水率印证分析结果。
