尽管电视在提高少数民族村落知识普及率、丰富少数民族精神文化生活、增强民族认同感等方面有不可替代的作用，但其所带来的娱乐化、商品化、市场话等观念对少数民族传统文化具有消解与重构的二元作用。

Traditional media of news paper, broadcast and TV and new media of internet and mobile phone have mixed together step by step since the beginning of 21century and their influences have reached the remote villages of Guizhou. Although TV has a positive role to play in spreading knowledge, enriching the spiritual and cultural life and strengthening the ethnic identity among ethnic minorities in the ethnic villages, its negative role as an introducer of various entertainments, commercialization thoughts and consumption ideas has adversely influenced the folk culture in villages of ethnic minorities. As a double-edged sword, TV is deconstructing the traditional folk culture of Miao People and is simultaneously reconstructing it.
