大学英语课改和教改以来,专门用途英语课程在很多高校都开展,但是却因受制于旧的教学模式,未能真正达到从通用英语向专门英语的过渡。在新阶段的英语教学中,引入较为系统化的逻辑思维教学,可以帮助学生在语言输入和语言输出上都得到良性提高。

With the reform of college English courses and teaching method, English for special purpose ( ESP) becomes a regular prac-tice in many universities. However, with the restriction of old-fashioned teaching model, ESP cannot become the bridge between Eng-lish for general purpose( EGP) and professional English. By introducing the systematical logical thinking teaching method in the mod-ern English teaching practice, teachers can help students to have an optimum in their language input and output.
