This paper mainly aims at the problem that large concave slope line need to manually add to in western regions of the 1∶50 000 topographic mapping production projects.It describes how to use ArcMap's own function and the small procedure of inde-pendent research and development to recognition concave fastly and efficiently, and add concave ground slope line accurately and effi-ciently.
