With the increasing importance attached to the pre-school education in China ,the cul-tivation of excellent professional talents has become imperative .The reasonable course setting and content construction of "Professional English" for pre-school education majors will directly affect the quality of professional talents .According to the professional characteristics ,students'conditions and social needs ,"Professional English"for pre-school education majors in teachers colleges should cover the following aspects:selected readings in professional classic English literature ,the cultiva-tion of preschoolers'English teaching ability and the using of"Professional English"as a tool .Com-prehensive improvement of the overall quality of students is the fundamental way to cultivate out-standing talents of preschool education .
