本文介绍了一种基于GSM （全球移动通信系统）网络SMS （短信业务）的多功能智能设备的工作原理及设计实现。它由一个无线通信模块（WAVECOM公司的Q24plus模块）和一个单片机（P89c668）为核心的监控单元组成，监控单元利用AT指令通过串口和GSM模块进行通信。它借助GSM模块Q24plus使用户能够通过短信便捷地对相关设备进行断电、上电和重启与备用设备切换等控制。

This paper introduces the principle and design of a Multi-functional intelligent equipment , which base on SMS of GSM. The terminal consists of a wireless GSM module (Q24plus module produced by WAVECOM company) and a monitor and control unit taking single-chip microcomputer (P89c668) as the core. Using the AT commands , the monitor and control unit can communicate with the GSM module though serial interface. The terminal let people control ( shut down、 switch on and restart ) the remote equipments easily and conveniently by text short message of mobile phone , using GSM module Q24plus.
