This paper analyzes the demand for the talents and the characteristic of the undergraduate education in machine specialty in Three Gorges reservoir. It establishes the training system for undergraduate talent cultivation by optimizing and reorganizing the knowledge system, improving the verification system, establishing the system of innovation and pioneering and opening a practical application system, and building an extracurricular system. The results show that the reform and trial is plausible in Three Gorges reservoir.
