In this article, coating corrosion failure type in equipments、pipelines and steel structure in industry environment were described. Chalking, color, change, cracking, delaminating, blistering, wrinkling, rusting etc. were discussed. Cause of corrosion failure in coated steels and protection from environmental medium, coater selected using, surface treatment and coating technique etc factors were synthesize analyzed.
