提出了一种基于矩阵变换和压扩变换的联合算法来降低正交频分复用(OFDM)系统中的峰均功率比(PAPR)。该算法首先通过酉矩阵降低发送序列的非周期自相关性,然后在此基础上采用压扩函数进一步处理。计算机仿真表明,在MPSK调制方式下,该算法相对于仅采用压扩变换,其降PAPR的性能和误比特率性能均得到提高,相对于仅采用矩阵变换,降PAPR的性能得到提高。此外,该联合算法还可以通过调节分段线性压扩(PWLC)函数的参数,以达到降PAPR和误比特率性能的折中。

In this paper,we propose a joined algorithm based on matrix transform andcompanding transform for reducing the Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). A unitary matrix is adapted to reduce the aperiodic auto-correlation of the transmitting sequence,and then we use companding function to improve the performance of PAPR further. In MPSK modulation,Computer simulation shows that the joined algorithm has better PAPR reduction and bit error rate (BER)performance compared with using companding transform only,and can reduce PAPR more effectively compared with using matrix transform only. In addition,a good trade-off between PAPR reduction and bit error rate performance can be achieved by adjusting the parameters of thepiecewise-line companding(PWLC)function.
